For this annotated bibliography I chose to use feminist criticism. I chose the following questions: What are the power relationships between men and women and how are male and female roles defined? In Neil Gaiman's version of this work he uses a character by the name of Sandman to grant dreams. One of the relationships portrayed in the work is that of Shakespeare and his son Hamnet.
